Edinburgh is a fantastic city to visit all year round but during the winter daylight hours are reduced. Great Scot Tours have created a 6 hour tour of Edinburgh and surrounding area.

You will be collected by your experienced guide and taken on a leisurely panoramic tour of Edinburgh including Edinburgh’s Old, and New Towns. Your guide will give you a fun and entertaining tour, showing you historic buildings, and telling stories of the many famous people who have lived and worked here.

We travel the short distance to Rosslyn Chapel, home of the ‘Holy Grail’. This masterpiece of Gothic Architecture is truly inspiring. Enjoy a lecture on why so much effort was put into the intricate stone carvings which cover the entire building.

After lunch enjoy a visit to Glenkinchie Whisky Distillery. This famous single malt is one of only six to be distilled in the lowlands of Scotland.
